Sarah Board is used to putting others in the spotlight as director and co-owner of Nelson Weekly Ltd, so stepping out onto the dance floor will be a new experience for a whole lot of reasons.   Her dance experience is limited to a few sessions of Zumba and dancing to the Wiggles in the lounge with her son. But after a decade at Nelson Weekly she’s seen the phenomenal benefit Nelson Tasman Hospice brings to the region and was keen to do what she could to support the trust.   Currently, Sarah acts as the editor of the Nelson Magazine – also owned by Nelson Weekly Ltd – which has grown over the past couple of years to be the highest circulating and best-read magazine in Nelson.   She says taking on a challenge like Dancing for a Cause is an opportunity to test herself, which excites her, but it is the thought of raising as much money as possible for the hospice which is the main driver.   “I watched the first Dancing for a Cause from the stands and loved it. It was a great event and I thought the dancers were all amazing, but seeing how much was raised for hospice was just as impressive. I hope that I can do my bit to help the hospice, while also trying to stay on my feet!”
