Wow, what can I say? This is going to be an amazing experience, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to help raise money for such a great cause!

For those who don’t know me, I’m Wendy, but you can call me “Red.” I’m originally from Karamea but have lived in beautiful Nelson for most of my life.

These days, I’m living my dream job—selling cars. Helping someone find the perfect vehicle and watching how excited they are as they drive off is what makes this job so rewarding. I’ve been in car sales for seven years now, working at The Car Company, and I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way.

My love for cars runs deep—I have a little collection at home. That’s how I met my wonderful husband, Graeme Blincoe. He’s the genius behind the Nelson Car Show, which run for ten years. It was a perfect way for us to share our passion and raise money for local charities.

I also love going to F45, where I train seven days a week. Yes, you read that right. For someone who couldn’t last a week in a gym before, F45 has been a game-changer. The incredible team, atmosphere and the awesome people I’ve met over the past two years have kept me motivated.

Here’s the thing: I have absolutely no idea how to dance, or wear heels. But I’m diving in headfirst, and I’m so excited for the challenge! With your support, we can make this a heartwarming, and hugely successful fundraiser. Let’s do this together and create some unforgettable memories!
